- ENRIQUE GALASSI (BASS/DOUBLE BASS,GUITAR)
Enrique is a versatile Musician and Music Tutor with more than 20 years of experience. He has performed a wide variety of orchestral and chamber repertorie as well as popular music like Tango and Rock. He began playing the Double Bass when he was 15 and by the age of 20 he had already won a place in the Orquesta Sinfonica de Bahia Blanca where he played for several years.
In 1999 he travelled to London to study at Trinity College of Music where he won the Vernon Elliot Prize for Double Bass and graduated in 2007. Whilst still a student at Trinity College of Music Enrique played as principal double bass in the String ensemble, Wren ensemble, Contemporary music group and Symphony Orchestra. He had master classes with Rinat Ibraguimov, Alex Henery and Corrado Canonici.
In 2005 Enrique founded the Tango quintet “Del Plata” who focus on Astor Piazzolla’s “Tango Nuevo” Since then he has playedwith almost all groups and soloists of tango in uk, the musicals: “Tango in the City”, “Flamenka” as well as colaborating with groups
in France and Argentina. At present he works as a freelance classical player with orquestras in London and UK and he is also part of “The London Tango Orchestra” (First Orquesta Tipica in the UK)
- HUNG-YU CHEN (VIOLIN/ VIOLA)
Prior to the Royal College of Music, Hung-Yu trained as a Viola soloist at the Tunghai University in Taichung where she was awarded viola division first prize at the Taiwan Young Musician competition (2002). In 2006 she came toEnglandto study with Steve Wright (Chamber Orchestra of Europe)and Peter Collyer(London Handel Orchestra) whilst completing her MMus at the Universityof Southampton. She made her British debut at the Turner Sims Concert Hall performing the Morton Feldman viola solo ‘The Viola in my Life’ with the Southampton Contemporary Ensemble conducted by Michael Zev Gordon in 2008. Hung-Yu Chen was awarded MMus in Advance Performance in Royal College of Music,Londonin 2010 where she studied with Jonathan Barritt (English Chamber Orchestra). She makes frequent appearances as a recital soloist and performs regularly aroundLondonin venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, South Bank Centre and Cadogan Hall. She has been teaching the violin and the viola for several years. She is an experienced teacher with many students passing the ABRSM exams with Merit and Distinction.
- HERNAN PALAZZO (DRUMS)
Hernán is a Professional Musician with a degree from the Argentine Syndicate School of Music. He has studied with the most renowned jazz/latin jazz drummers from Argentina and Uruguay such as Pepi Taveira, Horacio Veros, Osvaldo Fattorusso, and Marcelo Blanco.
Having lived and worked as a drum teacher in Argentina and England he is fluent in both Spanish (native) and English (Int. Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma)
As a drum player he has performed with several bands. His latest studio work is a mixture of Jazz fusion and Latin-American folk. He is currently working in mainstream projects playing Rock and Pop.
- JAMES LILL (PIANO/ORGAN/KEYBOARDS)
James was born in Yeovil, England on the 18th of August 1988. He became interested in the organ at the age of eight, and began having lessons on organ and piano withJonathan Lane. Showing a great enthusiasm for music, James enrolled at Wells Cathedral School the following year in September 1997, learning piano under Pamela Collins and organ under Rupert Gough. Within his first academic year he was offered a specialist place, and from September 2001 began learning piano under RCM Professor John Byrne. During his time at Wells James performed regularly, taking part in a number of concert opportunities including appearances in the magnificent Wells Cathedral, both as a soloist and orchestral pianist. He also took part in masterclasses with pianists from a number ofUK institutions: Christopher Elton, Vanessa Latarche, Mark Ray, Philip Martin, Ruth Harte, Ruth Gerald, Michael Young and Richard McMahon.
James left Wells with a distinction in Grade 8 piano, and A grades for A levels in Music, Maths and Further Maths. He completed the Bachelor of Music degree at the Royal College of Music in July 2010, studying piano under international pianist and teacher Niel Immelman, and composition with Jonathan Cole. James performed at a number of venues inLondon, including the Royal Overseas League House and theVictoria and Albert museum, as well as a number of performances at College. He is becoming increasingly active as a composer, with recent projects including a Piano Concerto which he performed with a local chamber orchestra at the end of 2010, a setting of a Shakespeare sonnet for choir and piano following an invitation from conductor Gavin Carr, and a piano quintet.
- JENNY RODRIGUEZ (SINGING/ SPANISH THROUGH MUSIC COACH)
Jenny is a Colombian Singer who at early age always knew that she could find the perfect mixed between spontaneity and art: singing. Jenny began her career as a musician in 2002 taking her voice as a main instrument. During her career, Jenny has worked in genres like jazz, pop, rock, salsa, merengue and folk music, showing her amazing versatility. In 2005 she entered to be part of the INCCA University’s Big Band alternating her participation in different Jazz Ensembles. In 2006 conformed “Son Latinos Show” band that performed from pop and latin music. Jenny has been part of different musical projects such as “Calle Grande”, tropical band with which she recorded and toured in many cities from her country. Cuban Salsa band “Latin Ba’” with those who she participates in festivals like “Salsa al Parque 2010” (Bogotamost important Salsa Festival), “Festival Jazz y Blues Libelula Dorada” to name some a few. “Four of Billions” rock band, “La Santisima Charanga” female salsa band directed by the Puerto Rican producer, pianist and arrangerIsraelTanembaum who has worked with many of the classic salsa artists and jazz musicians.Her teaching experience began in 2006. In 2007 Jenny is admitted as a teacher of “Escuela de Artes Iglesia Cristiana Carismatica Internacional”. She worked as a vocal coaching in “Performance Art Studio” school since 2009.Nowadays, she is performing in London with “Son Real Orchestra”, “Salseology Band” and “La Mafia Band”.
- JOICEL TRIVINO (PERCUSSION)
Joicel was born in Barranquilla-Colombia. Since he was a child he was influenced for the variety of Afro Colombian culture concentrating in this particular Region. Started his career from a young age playing Afro Colombia folklore in one of the most famous carnivals in the world, The carnival of Barranquilla. Since then, music became his fascination, especially for the percussion world. Joicel has taken part in percussion workshops with recognized percussionists such as Richie Flores, Alfredo Sanchez, Thomas Dyani, amount others.
Joicel has a wide experience teaching percussion to children and adults with a versatile and fun way to learn. He has been playing different styles for many years from Latin to Pop, Funky, Soul music and so on.
At present, Joicel is currently Playing with a variety of artist and styles in London, which allows him to keep learning from different experience.

- NICOLAS FERNANDEZ (ACOUSTIC GUITAR/SINGING)
Nicolas was born in Bogota(Colombia), which is a city with many musical influences. Nicolas began his career as a singer and musician in the year 2003 in University Incca de Colombia, place which hi studied Jazz and popular Vocal Technics. In his short career like a musician, he has participated in a different musical projects singing styles such as Jazz, Rock, Salsa, Merengue, Bossa, Latin pop and a special affinity for traditional music of the colombian andes. He thinks that the most important thing when you are singing is the interpretation, about that, he says: “When you are singing, you must be aware that you are telling a story whether interesting or boring, happy or sad; it is important to know that what you are singing is something more than a piece of paper and you have to give your heart and voice in order to conquer the audience”.
He has performed in different Festivals like Salsa al Parque 2010 and University festivals such as Festival Universitario Universidad Incca and Jorge Tadeo Lozano with “Latin’ Ba” band; Blues & Jazz festival Libelula Dorada with “Black Jazz” and “Cuatro Espantos” Bands to name just a few.
He came to England in 2010 and is performing traditional Latin Music, and New styles from Colombian music with local bands such as “Son Real Orchestra” and “La Mafia Band”.
